![]() Constructed in 1926 as an apartment hotel on the same Manhattan block as the The Dakota, the Park Royal exhibits the style and grandeur of the Golden Age in which it was built. Located in the heart of the socially and culturally dynamic Upper West Side, the building offers full-service amenities, including 24-hour concierge, liveried doormen, live-in superintendent, comfortable laundry and storage facilities, and a gym operated by the New York Sports Club. In 1985 the building was converted to a cooperative and has twice been named one of the city's "Top Ten Co-ops."
